Position Overview

The Catering Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting catering services for Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill, and Carrabba’s Italian Grill. This role involves managing inbound phone and email inquiries, providing exceptional guest service throughout the sales process, and assisting with outbound efforts to develop new client opportunities as assigned by the National Catering Sales Manager.


Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Sales:

  • Handle inbound phone and email inquiries for catering orders, ensuring a seamless guest experience from inquiry through delivery.
  • Work closely with the Catering Sales Team, restaurant team, and field leaders to build strong relationships and ensure the success of catering initiatives.
  • Input leads, contacts, quotes, and bookings into CRM and Direct Entry systems, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all orders.
  • Provide expert advice on menu selections based on a solid understanding of menu items, recipes, and client needs.
  • Represent the Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill, and Carrabba’s Italian Grill brands within the community to proactively drive business growth.
  • Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and build repeat business for catering orders.
  • Assist the Catering Sales Team with administrative tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor, including reporting and documentation.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as needed to support the Catering Sales Team and business objectives.


Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in sales, customer service, or catering coordination is highly desirable. Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a keen attention to detail.
