Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A

Bloomin’ Brands is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join the dynamic Corporate Finance team. The Corporate Finance team is comprised of consolidated Financial Planning & Analysis, International and Non-Core Entities Brand Finance, Supply Chain Finance, and Investor Relations.  This position offers exposure to our senior executive leadership team.

Successful candidates have a bias towards action and an intellectual curiosity to learn. Key responsibilities include supporting our international business, the consolidation and analysis of concept and corporate level planning and forecasting, analyzing key operational and business trends, and supporting cross-functional teams as well as wider Bloomin' Brands requests as needed.

This role is based in our Tampa, FL Restaurant Support Center and will work a hybrid schedule (mix of onsite and remote).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Perform monthly financial and business analysis of our international results vs. forecasted expectations utilizing the general ledger, subsystems, financial statements and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Include insights into trends and performance versus forecasts as appropriate
• Prepare schedules and perform analysis to support board level reporting, external financial reporting, treasury, and investor relations teams
• Liaise with business leads to gather information, and provide reporting and information as needed in order to facilitate informed financial decisions to achieve financial targets
• Assist in the development and modeling of the consolidated strategic long-range plan including balance sheet & cash flow modeling, and scenario planning/management
• Participate in meetings with Senior Management on trends and financial data
• Maintain various industry benchmarking metrics and analysis
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and other job-related duties as assigned 

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, required
• MBA or Master’s in Accounting preferred

Experience/Skills:

•  1+ years of financial analysis, public accounting and/or financial reporting or corporate accounting experience with a general understanding of GAAP accounting principles
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement presentation
• Commitment to continuous process improvement with the ability to work independently at times while being flexible to changing business needs
• Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to work in teams
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, required 
• Retail industry experience, preferred
