HR Business Partner - RSC
The HR Business Partner is a strategic advisor supporting multiple executives within the RSC, to align people strategies with organizational goals. They provide strategic and hands-on support across the full employee lifecycle, including talent attraction, training and development, performance management, succession planning, engagement and retention, and organizational enablement. By leveraging data insights and business acumen, the role drives continuous improvement, retention strategies, and leadership coaching to enhance team effectiveness and support multi-unit leaders in achieving operational success. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally to support HR operations, drive process improvements, and contribute to a culture that reflects our company’s Principles & Beliefs.
This position is based in our Tampa Restaurant Support Center and will work a hybrid schedule (mix of onsite and remote).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support with centers of excellence in areas including but not limited to organizational design, compensation planning, recruiting process, engagement, performance management, organizational and talent development, and general HR inquiries.
- Manage projects/initiatives for People programs, launch, training, execution and follow up, including workforce processes such as talent review, development planning, performance appraisals, etc.
- Coaches' functional leaders on team effectiveness, communication, and talent development.
- Collaborate with COEs to enhance the employee experience across the full talent lifecycle—from recruitment support to offboarding—with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Partner with HR Director to execute talent strategies and provide responsive, high-quality support to internal clients.
- Support employee engagement initiatives such as milestone celebrations, recognition programs, and culture-building events.
- Maintain and update job descriptions in alignment with job architecture and business needs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of retention strategies that reinforce company culture and reduce turnover.
- Analyze HR data and trends to inform decision-making and recommend improvements to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Lead offboarding processes, including exit interviews and asset recovery, while identifying opportunities to improve the experience.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of HR programs and special projects.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the HR team.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required
- HR Certification strongly preferred
Experience/Skills
- 4+ years of progressive HR experience
- Previous HRBP experience preferred
- Proven ability to support multiple leaders in navigating sensitive workplace issues with consistency, compliance, and sound judgment, required.
- Demonstrated operational HR experience in a restaurant, retail or corporate environment, preferred.
- Collaborative and self-aware communicator with a proven ability to build trust, adapt communication styles to diverse audiences, and foster inclusive, high-performing teams across multiple leadership levels.
- Solid understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and HRIS systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
