 As a Regional Training Manager, you will serve as the standard bearer for service and hospitality in the Front of House. Responsibilities include but are not limited to upholding the training, service and hospitality standards throughout your home restaurant and the region, supporting company initiatives and objectives in said areas as well as working in conjunction with the Operations Director and brand Operations & Training Excellence to support and assist in improving established operational metrics. 

 

Ideally based in the Operations Director home restaurant or centrally located for travel throughout the region.  This individual will spend up to 50% time in their home restaurant as a manager and 50% of the time traveling throughout the market, supporting training.  This individual will act as a liaison to Operations & Training Excellence. 


Specific responsibilities of the Regional Training Manager include: 

* Act as main point of contact for Partners in Training/Managers in Training within their region throughout the training process 

* Conducts progress calls with new Partners in Training/Managers in Training 

* Responsible for reporting, following up on and tracking all required BBI University coursework for Managers and serves as the regional administrator and the first point of contact for any BBI University troubleshooting 

* Support in-restaurant all-Associate meetings as needed 

* Serve as the standard bearer of training and hospitality in their region 

* Implementing effective security protocols to always ensure the ongoing safety of both our employees and guests.  

* Lead companywide rollouts and follow-ups by region, lead special training projects and assist as needed by Operations & Training Excellence 

* Drive regional Guest satisfaction initiatives and targets throughout the region including but not limited to star rating 

* Facilitate company initiatives in restaurants when necessary, through live meetings, virtual meetings or conference calls with the support and in conjunction with Operations & Training Excellence 

* Provide timely feedback, analysis and follow up recommendations to Operations Director and restaurant Partners by providing detailed visit notes after restaurant visits and/or meetings 

* Assist in training, retraining and certification programs as needed 


Experience

 *  A minimum of two years of salaried restaurant manager experience

*   Preferred experience in restaurant training

*   Track record of upholding excellent standards in current restaurant


Education

Bachelor's degree in hospitality, culinary arts or business preferred 


 Requirements

* Subject Matter Expert on all service and training standards 

* Strong communication skills both written and verbal 

* Fluent in Microsoft Office suite 

* Functional expert on all systems, processes and platforms in the Front of House

* Strong ability to communicate and validate all training programs including but not limited to new hire training, new menu rollouts, new service standards and other initiatives.

Compensation Range: Varies by Location with potential for bonus based on eligibility and other business factors.
